THE "MORNING PRAYER" BY AZZAM ATAKHANOV.

 

From December 10, 2010 to January 24, 2010 the State Museum of Oriental Art with the assistance and direct participation of the Mardjani Foundation presents the "Morning Prayer" – the art exhibition of the Moscow artist Azzam Atakhanov. Over 40 works from the museum and private collections will be exhibited there.  Paintings of the artist are rich in contrasting colours, exquisite combinations of tints and tones.

LEV SNEGIRYOV. PAINTING. GRAPHICS.

 

From March 4  to April 18, 2011 the State Museum of Oriental Art with the assistance and direct participation of the Mardjani Foundation presents the " Lev  Snegiryov. PAINTING. GRAPHICS " – the art exhibition of the artist Lev Snegiryov. 

Lev Snegiryov is an artist of great and original talent. Being one of those commonly termed men of the sixties and non-conformists, he shared in the heavy fate of artists of his generation.

“SHURALE AND ME” AT KHAZINEH

 

“A night in the museum”, being held worldwide on May 14th  this year, celebrates an opening of the exhibition “Shurale and me” initiated by Salavat Gilyazetdinov and Vasil Khannanov in the walls of the “Khazineh” National Art Gallery in Kazan.

The exhibition highlightens contemporary portrayal of Shurale (tat. Шүрәле), a male forest monster from the Tatar folklore and a main protagonist of Tuqay’s most famous poem of the same name “Shurale”, written in 1907.
